Protective Beewax Coating To prevent rust and save time on seasoning, a beewax coating is applied. Clean the pan thoroughly with very hot water after your first use. For any wax residue, simply wipe the hot pan with a paper towel. Seasoning steps: coat the bottom of the pan with flavorless oil, heat for 5 minutes, let cool, drain, and wipe clean. This process results in a natural non-stick surface.

Care and Maintenance Hand washing is recommended to preserve the pan’s integrity. Follow these steps: hand wash with hot water immediately after use, wipe with a paper towel, and store in a dry place. Avoid metal utensils, scouring pads, steel wool, abrasive cleansers, bleach, or oven cleaners, as they can damage the surface. Before storing, apply a little olive oil to prevent rust.
